Relaxing in Hua Hin

A few weeks ago, P, J, and I went to Hua Hin, Thailand. I had never heard of this place until I saw a Jetsetter sale on it back in February. Its actually the place where the royal family of Thailand traditionally vacations (or so says wikipedia). We stayed in the MOST amazing hotel: Six Senses Evason Hua Hin. We got a great deal on Jetsetter for this place, which is just a 3.5 hour drive from Bangkok.

Our villa had its own pool and jacuzzi tub outside, with our own personal butler. AMAZING! The whole hotel was eco friendly and super luxurious feeling. It was like a 2 minute walk to the beach, and there were some really delicious restaurants on property. We even took a thai cooking class at the hotel! I think the Six Senses brand is my new favorite hotel chain...all of their other hotels look equally as beautiful .

We got into a great schedule while at the hotel: wake up, eat awesome free breakfast buffet, lay out at the pool, lunch at the pool, afternoon activity (spa and once cooking class), make a bubble bath with our outdoor jacuzzi tub, dinner, rent a movie from the butler and watch, sleep and repeat. It was the perfect way to rejuvenate!
