Tea time!

P and I have been having the most amazing luck finding awesome places. Last week we went Arteastiq..I had passed by it many times before, but for some reason have never actually looked inside. The service is typical Singapore...sooo pretty awful. But everything comes in such cute displays and since the service is so terrible and no one notices you meaning you could sit for hours and no one would notice. So it is the perfect place to have a lazy afternoon tea with friends...trust me!

crazy delicious blendy coffee thingee served with a wafery cracker

I love afternoon tea time....I definitely want to go back to check out their high tea set! Until next time, xxoo lovelies!

Medz at Orchard Central

So I found this really awesome restaurant with P a few weeks ago. Ok it has a pretty terrible name...Medz. But it is AMAZING. Its a Mediterranean version of one of my other fave places to eat, Marche. So there are different stations offering a variety of foods from all over the Mediterranean area. The funny thing about this is that there is also a Japanese restaurant like this, and all three serve rosti (giant potato/hash brown pancake things). But Medz may be the cutest of the three...and definitely the most delicious!

food stations...

even the bathroom entrance is cute

Medz is filled with cute sitting areas

not a good picture...but the hummus comes with the most delicious squishy fluffy pita bread. yum

Anyways, since Medz just opened they have these awesome specials...like happy hour all day and 25% off your meal so me and P's meals came out to about $6 each! What a score, right? Sometimes Singapore is alright...until next time, XXOO!

um...NEED

Lately I have been obsessed with pinterest.com and reading other blogs so I can "pin" things to my boards on pinterest. And i came across this bag by Lo & Sons and I want this bag so much, I feel like i need it and can't go on another trip without this bag. And since it only fits a 13" laptop, i feel like i need a small laptop just to go with this AMAZING bag. Check out this video!

my life just won't feel complete without this bag, until next time, xxoo!!

My idea of FUN with V

So during my short trip home I decided to recruit my BFF V to help me take some pictures of table set ups to add to my portfolio/our business' website. I set these up in like 2 days and on a small budget...but I feel like her pictures came out sooo good that I had to share.

What do you think? Creating these were so MUCH fun! I am so lucky that I have found exactly what I want to do with my life career wise...and I really hope someone hires Whimsical Affairs! Until next time, xxoo!

Relaxing in Hua Hin

A few weeks ago, P, J, and I went to Hua Hin, Thailand. I had never heard of this place until I saw a Jetsetter sale on it back in February. Its actually the place where the royal family of Thailand traditionally vacations (or so says wikipedia). We stayed in the MOST amazing hotel: Six Senses Evason Hua Hin. We got a great deal on Jetsetter for this place, which is just a 3.5 hour drive from Bangkok.

Our villa had its own pool and jacuzzi tub outside, with our own personal butler. AMAZING! The whole hotel was eco friendly and super luxurious feeling. It was like a 2 minute walk to the beach, and there were some really delicious restaurants on property. We even took a thai cooking class at the hotel! I think the Six Senses brand is my new favorite hotel chain...all of their other hotels look equally as beautiful .

We got into a great schedule while at the hotel: wake up, eat awesome free breakfast buffet, lay out at the pool, lunch at the pool, afternoon activity (spa and once cooking class), make a bubble bath with our outdoor jacuzzi tub, dinner, rent a movie from the butler and watch, sleep and repeat. It was the perfect way to rejuvenate!

I'm Back!

Its been 2 months since I have written anything...but I have been soo busy...first my mom was visiitng, then we went to Hong kong, then I went on a fabulous girly trip to Hua Hin, Thailand, and finally I went home for 2 weeks!

But the main reason I haven't been writing, is that P and I have been engrossed in starting our own freelance event and video production company: Whimsical Affairs. The website isn't quite done yet...but what do you think?! I am really pumped about it...and even if we get only one customer  I would be so excited!

Anyways...look out for more posts on what I've been up to! Until next time, xxoo from Singapore!
